I was seriously thinking of opening an indoor slick kart track here, but the cost of rent is prohibitive. I even wrote a very good business proposal, but getting 100k for start up costs for a place that will probably only be open at night, be busy only during the weekend, and can only charge about $20 per person per race with 10 - 15 races a night makes for a very long break even point.
I miss the ones in socal, and I'd go to the one here if they open up. Slick karting FTW! HT GTG if it opens? Race for some drinks!
