Default New Track.

I know how many threads there are. I've read a few. I was just curious why would we have to ask the govenor where we put a new track? If you can work hard enough to find sponorship so you can buy the land and supplies needed. Go through the system itself to get permits or w/e is needed. Find a nice chunk of land a mile or more from any housing area. Is that possible? Im really tired of driving over broken roads down in kalaeloa. You would think the gov would jump at anything to get us off the streets especially if they didnt have to pay for it themselves.

well, since you read stuff. with the master plan in Kapolei and the old Hawaii Raceway Park not being there in that plan... that was the idea with Oakland and parcel 9 at the Kalaeloa airport.

so, asking the governor where to put a track sounds kinda stupid.... but, if they don't want to let the private development continue even after the NAVY said they aren't going to put a carrier group there... then i guess the State of Hawaii is gonna build the track... the problem is "where"... once that is answered then we move on to the next thing. at this rate, in 30 years we should have a track on Oahu owned and operated by the City and County.

... because they don't wan't private development?
