I had the red version of one of those years back...now that I'm into mini I wish I hadn't sold it. Anyway there's a couple of things I noticed on the design I would reccomend changing. First off the diffs...the stock plastic diffs are pretty poor. The 1/10th RoadRunner had the plastic ones as a light weight option but the stock steel ones are much smoother and are the same diff as the mini. So if you can find some of the steel diffs I'd get em. The other issue I had with it was the shocks...the were just kinda ok. I had planned to replace them with Tamiya shocks but never got around to it.

Thanks for the tips Gadgt.

For as old as the car is the stock diffs feel o.k. I'm thinking they should hold up o.k. with a Black Can (for racing) or the EPIC Stock (for messing around) But I will keep an eye out for the diffs.

I will probably get a set of 3Racing TC shocks for it. But Tamiya Super Mini CVA's or Super CVA's may be an option as well.

Now, I know which John bought this. On Sunday, I asked John Flores about this and he didn't know what I was talking about. You beat me to buying this car from B!
