Slot Car City does have some nice stuff, but at the track Derek does stock alot of stuff for these hot rods. He has everything you need to build and run them too. Go down and check um' out.

Default Nuts about Slotcars....

I've picked up a bunch of slot cars over the last few years in California and England. Here's about half my collection the other half is HO scale ...Unfortunately I left all of them in California because I didn't think there was much interest here in Hawaii. I also have enough Scalextric track to do a 80ft four lane track.

http://www.mannydesign.com/slotcar/index.htm

These are all ready made; I just don't have the time to build model kits anymore. One day I'll post a pick of my closet at my parent's place it's full of Tamiya and Fujimi kits I picked up in Japan.

Hey Mike,

I don't think we'd be able to do something like that. It's kind of a big deal to set that track up, but we appreciate the invite though.

Aloha, Ryan

Hey Lopaka,

Frist of all at the track they do let the first timers run for free and they also have house cars available for you to use too.you should go down and check it out when you have a chance. Not sure what the starter kits go for now, but I bought one for my son a year or so ago and I spent $90.00, and everything you needed to run was in this kit. Even the car.

Go down and try to run with one of the house cars for now, and feel things out. You won't find a more friendly and helpful group of guys anywhere.
